Total Quality Management
How do we design and build quality? The answer is namely "kaizen" or continual improvement. We set aside time for each of our production teams to suggest ways to improve our manufacturing process. In other words, we give our associates ownership in the process. Production is implemented at all of our lines by dividing up associates into production teams. In each team, associates are trained on each other's tasks. |

First, it gives our associates deeper skill sets with which to build their careers; they are not assigned to only one task for thousands of hours a year, they are well-rounded technology professionals. Second, it creates workforce versatility; a multi-trained associate can fill in for an absent team-mate wherever needed. This flexibility makes possible "just-in-time" method of production. Challenges do arise - we are manufacturing important materials, after all - and when one team member needs assistance, another can provide it. Everyone wins. In short, Vesbo associates are team players helping each other to succeed.
The secret of Vesbo Quality is not simply hiring the best people. It's giving associates the power to make decisions on how a Vesbo product should be made. By giving the highest responsibility to those actually producing the pipes and the fittings, we are able to spot that rare defect or needed improvement not only before it leaves the factory, but before it is even finished.
The Quality Process is an integral part of everything Vesbo does. Quality action teams of Vesbo people throughout the world are continually working to improve products, processes and procedures to better meet customer requirements.
