Permissible Operating Pressure Projected Service Life
The following table provides a more detailed information with regards to the permissible pressure of various pipe pressure rating at various temperatures.These values derived from the hoop stress chart and formula.
Under normal working pressures and conditions,the average service life of Vesbo pipes is projected to be 50 years or more.
Example
A PN 10,cold water pipe,transporting water at a temperature of 30oC can last for more than 50 years under normal conditions with an operating pressure of 11.1 Bars or 161 P.S.I
A PN 20,cold water pipe,transporting water at a temperature of 70oC can last for more than 50 years under normal conditions with an operating pressure of 8.5 Bars or 123 P.S.I
